For the latest film instalment in the DC universe, Cantina was charged with the task of conceptualizing and implementing key graphics throughout the film. Numerous interface elements were designed from the ground up for each location within the Hawk Cruiser spaceship, consisting of a blend of advanced holograms and light-based screens. Collaboration was enjoyable with Director Jaume Collet-Serra and VFX Supervisor Bill Westenhofer, and we took care to ensure that our designs embodied the depth of Hawkman's lore, and felt natural within the practical set imagined by production designer Tom Meyer. By the time of the film’s release, Cantina completed over 200 fully composited shots.
